A Polícia Civil de São João da Boa Vista (SP) investiga o assassinato da estudante da Unicamp Mayara Roquetto Valentim, de 23 anos, após ela sair para caminhar na manhã de domingo (15), na Serra da Paulista. Ninguém foi preso.
Segundo a polícia, Mayara saiu de casa por volta das 11h para fazer uma caminhada na Serra da Paulista e não retornou mais. Parentes e amigos fizeram buscas e divulgaram a foto da jovem nas redes sociais. A jovem estudava ciências biológicas na Unicamp, em Campinas (SP), desde 2017. A família de Mayara ainda não se pronunciou sobre o assassinato.
O corpo de Mayara foi encontrado por uma pessoa que ajudava nas buscas durante a noite de domingo. Ela estava com ferimentos de faca no braço, mão, tórax e cabeça em uma área conhecida como ‘Vale dos Gnomos’, na estrada da Serra da Paulista.
O delegado Fabiano Antunes, responsável pela investigação do caso, informou que o inquérito foi instaurado e a apuração está em andamento. “Por enquanto, nenhuma hipótese pode ser descartada. Desde um homicídio, feminicídio ou mesmo um latrocínio”, disse.
