O ainda poderoso da Fórmula 1 partiu em um voo particular para a SuÍça depois de ser liberado da Delegacia da Polícia Civil no aeroporto de Campinas (SP).
O ex-chefe executivo da Fórmula 1 Bernie Ecclestone, de 91 anos, foi preso em flagrante na noite desta quarta-feira (25) por porte ilegal de arma no Aeroporto Internacional de Viracopos , em Campinas (SP).
Segundo o boletim de ocorrência, Ecclestone portava uma pistola calibre 32 sem documentação regular encontrada na bagagem dele, e estava escondida dentro do bolso de uma das camisas, quando foi detectada no raio-x do aeroporto.
A bagagem foi levada para a área de embarque da Polícia Federal após a suspeita. A arma da marca LW Seecamp estava sem o carregador e sem munições.
Ecclestone alegou ter comprado a pistola de um mecânico da Fórmula 1 há aproximadamente cinco anos. A arma seria mantida em uma propriedade rural no interior de São Paulo.
