A Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios Contínua (Pnad), mostra a menor taxa registrada no país desde o trimestre encerrado em janeiro de 2016.
Para trimestres encerrados em maio, é a mais baixa desde 2015, quando foi de 8,3%. O rendimento médio, porém, cai 7,2% no comparativo com 1 ano atrás.
Segundo divulgou nesta quinta-feira (30) o Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), é a primeira vez em mais de 6 anos que o desemprego deixa de rodar na casa dos 2 dígitos.
Trata-se da menor taxa registrada no país desde o trimestre encerrado em janeiro de 2016, quando ficou em 9,6%. Para trimestres encerrados em maio, é a menor desde 2015, quando foi de 8,3%.
O número de desempregados diminuiu 11,5% (menos 1,4 milhão de pessoas) frente ao trimestre anterior e 30,2% (menos 4,6 milhões de pessoas desocupadas) na comparação anual.
O número de pessoas ocupadas atingiu 97,5 milhões, o maior da série histórica, iniciada em 2012, e mostrou alta de 2,4% na comparação com o trimestre anterior e de 10,6% na comparação anual. “Isso equivale a um aumento de 2,3 milhão de pessoas no trimestre e de 9,4 milhões de ocupados no ano”, destacou o IBGE.
Já o rendimento médio real do trabalhador foi de R$ 2.613, apresentando estabilidade estatística frente ao trimestre anterior (R$ 2.596), mas ainda é 7,2% menor do que o registrado no mesmo trimestre de 2021 (R$ 2.817).
A massa de rendimento real habitual (R$ 249,8 bilhões) cresceu 3,2% frente ao trimestre anterior e avançou 3% na comparação anual, mas segue distante do pico pré-pandemia, quando somou R$ 262,6 bilhões.
