A nova presidente da Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF), Daniella Marques, afirmou nesta segunda-feira (4), em entrevista ao Estúdio i, da TV a cabo GloboNews, que o banco vai apurar com rigor e independência as denúncias de assédio sexual e moral que levaram à queda do antigo presidente Pedro Guimarães. Ela disse ainda que, como parte das apurações, afastou funcionários que faziam parte do gabinete do ex-presidente.
Guimarães deixou o cargo na semana passada, após se tornarem públicas denúncias de funcionárias do banco, que relataram ter sofrido do ex-presidente abordagens que configuram assédio sexual e moral. Ele nega as acusações.
O Ministério Pública Federal (MPF) e o Ministério Público do Trabalho (MPT) investigam o caso. O Tribunal de Contas da União (TCU) também abriu processo para apurar a conduta do ex-presidente e os mecanismos de combate e prevenção ao assédio dentro do banco.
“Isso tem que ser apurado. Eu, como mulher, não acho aceitável que haja indício de assédio sexual”, afirmou Marques.
“Tenho que me comprometer que vai ser apurado com rigor, responsabilidade”, completou.
Marques disse também que não pretende perseguir nem proteger ninguém. Ela disse que as pessoas afastadas podem estar envolvidas nos casos de assédio, mas que isso ainda será apurado. Segundo Marques, entre os afastados estão o chefe de gabinete e cinco consultores da presidência.
“Tinha um grupo de pessoas com cargo de confiança, ligadas ao gabinete, chefe de gabinete. Pessoas que não conheço, não julgo”, explicou a nova presidente da Caixa.
“Para preservar a instituição, que é o mais importante neste momento, e antes de julgar qualquer coisa, a gente tem que preservar a imagem do banco, o funcionário, resgatar a estima do funcionário”, continuou a nova presidente da Caixa.
