Gerente da estatal teria recebido R$ 250 mil de empresa acusada de fraude
Agentes da Polícia Federal encontraram indícios de corrupção na estatal Companhia de Desenvolvimento dos Vales do São Francisco e do Parnaíba (Codevasf), empresa controlada por integrantes do Centrão e aliados do presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
Os indícios apontam que há fraudes e desvio de recursos públicos da estatal por membros do alto escalão da empresa.
Segundo a Polícia Federal, um dos gerentes da empresa pública no Maranhão foi acusado de receber R$ 250 mil de empresas ligadas e investigadas por fraudes em licitações do governo.
O encarregado da estatal foi alvo da operação Odoacro, que investiga a fraude de licitações da empreiteira Construservice. Durante a ação dos agentes em julho, foram realizadas busca e apreensão na superintendência da Codevasf no Maranhão.
A estatal declara que colabora com o trabalho da Justiça e que o acusado de receber dinheiro de empresas investigadas foi afastado de suas atividades na empresa.
A PF informa que em novo desdobramento da operação Odoacro visa desarticular o núcleo da “organização criminosa composto por servidores públicos que auxiliavam nas fraudes licitatórias e no desvio de recursos públicos”.
Segundo a Polícia Federal, o grupo investigado criava empresas de fachada para concorrer a licitações e fazer da empreiteira investigada a vencedora de contratos milionários com a estatal. A Codevasf recebeu bilhões de reais em emendas parlamentares nos últimos anos e começou a operar também em obras de pavimentação e na entrega de maquinários, além das de irrigação do Nordeste.
