Caio Paes de Andrade apresentou nesta terça-feira (3) sua carta de renuncia à presidência da Petrobras.
A renúncia de Caio deu início ao processo de substituição do comando da petrolífera. O Ministério de Minas e Energia (MME) informou que enviou nessa terça-feira (3) ao Conselho de Administração da companhia a indicação de Jean-Paul Prates para a presidência da empresa e membro do colegiado.
Em nota, o MME informou que a indicação será formalizada após os trâmites na Casa Civil da Presidência da República.
Uma reunião virtual do Conselho foi convocada para avaliar o caso ainda nesta terça.
A Petrobras deverá ser comandada pelo senador do PT, indicado por Lula, mas ele ainda precisará passar por aprovação do Conselho.
