Reajuste acompanha novo valor do salário mínimo, de R$ 1.320
A contribuição mensal dos Microempreendedores Individuais (MEIs) é calculada com base no salário mínimo. Com o reajuste neste mês, a contribuição previdenciária passará a ser de R$ 66 (5% do salário mínimo), considerando o valor de R$ 1.320, que ainda deve ser oficializado por meio de uma medida provisória.
Já o MEI Caminhoneiro pagará R$ 158,40 de contribuição previdenciária (12% do salário mínimo).Junto com a contribuição previdenciária, o MEI que exerce atividades sujeitas ao ICMS pagará adicionalmente R$ 1 (se desenvolver atividades de comércio e indústria).
Quem exerce atividades sujeitas ao ISSQN (prestador de serviços) pagará mais R$ 5. No caso de ter de pagar os dois impostos, o valor sobe para R$ 6.
Assim, com os impostos, o MEI pagará mensalmente entre R$ 67 e R$ 72 – a depender da sua atividade. O MEI Caminhoneiro pagará mensalmente entre R$ 159,40 e R$ 164,40.
O novo salário mínimo, que passará de R$ 1.212 para R$ 1.320, foi aprovado pelo Congresso Nacional em dezembro de 2022. Mas ainda é necessário que o valor seja oficializado pelo governo e publicado no “Diário Oficial da União”.
O novo salário mínimo representa um aumento de R$ 108 em relação ao piso nacional do ano passado (R$ 1.212), alta de quase 9%.
Esse novo valor de contribuição mensal dos Microempreendedores Individuais (MEIs) será calculado automaticamente no momento da emissão Documento de Arrecadação do Simples Nacional (DAS).
O Sebrae alerta que é por meio do pagamento em dia do DAS que o MEI garante benefícios previdenciários como aposentadoria por idade, auxílio-doença, aposentadoria por invalidez, auxílio-reclusão, pensão por morte e salário-maternidade.
O documento vence todo dia 20 de cada mês. O novo valor valerá para o pagamento da competência de janeiro de 2023, que vence no dia 20 de fevereiro.
Para emitir, o MEI deverá acessar a seção “Já Sou MEI” do Portal do Empreendedor e escolher a opção “Pague sua contribuição mensal”. Há três formas de pagamento disponíveis: débito automático, pagamento online ou boleto de pagamento.
