Gideon Menezes e Horácio Carlos Ferreira Barbosa foram levados para a delegacia do Paranoá
A Polícia Civil do Distrito Federal (PCDF) prendeu, nesta terça-feira (17), dois suspeitos de envolvimento no desaparecimento das oito pessoas da mesma família, entre quinta-feira (12) e domingo (15).
Policiais da 6ª Delegacia de Polícia (Paranoá) prenderam Gideon Batista de Menezes, 55 anos. O homem foi detido, no Recanto das Emas, e está na unidade da PCDF do Paranoá. O outro suspeito é Horácio Carlos Ferreira Barbosa, 49, também encaminhado para a delegacia.
As mãos e os braços de Gideon estão queimados. Dois carros carros da família foram encontrados incendiados com seis corpos carbonizados no interior dos veículos.
Gideon trabalhava com Marcos Antônio Lopes de Oliveira de 54 anos, um dos desaparecidos que é pai de pai de Thiago Gabriel Belchior de 30 anos, marido da cabelereira Elizamar de 39, também desaparecidos.
Gideon tem antecedentes criminais que envolvem roubos e porte ilegal de arma de fogo. Em uma das ocorrências, há o relato de que ele estava com uma arma ilegal no carro e foi parado em uma blitz, na Candangolândia, em 2007.
Em 1997, Gideon esteve em prisão domiciliar. Em 1998, quando preso no sistema carcerário, ele tentou fugir. Agentes encontraram um túnel que ligava uma cela a outra na Papuda. Gideon não conseguiu escapar na ocasião. Ele tem diversas passagens por assaltos.
Horácio, o segundo a ser preso, tem um termo circunstanciado por ameaça ocorrida em 2005.
A polícia investiga se a motivação do crime teria a ver com a venda e compra de um veículo, mas essa informação ainda não foi confirmada.
Os oito desaparecidos são: a cabelereira Elizamar da Silva, 39; o marido dela, Thiago Gabriel Belchior, 30; os três filhos do casal: os gêmeos Rafael e Rafaela da Silva, 6, e Gabriel da Silva, 7; a irmã de Thiago Gabriel, Gabriela Belchior de Oliveira, 25; e os pais deles, Renata Juliene Belchior, 52; e Marcos Antônio Lopes de Oliveira, 54.
