Outros 16 mandados de busca e apreensão foram determinados pelo STF
A Polícia Federal cumpre nesta sexta-feira (20), oito mandados de prisão preventiva contra suspeitos de envolvimento nos ataques às sedes dos Três Poderes em Brasília, no dia 8 de janeiro.
A PF disse ainda que também cumpre 16 mandados de busca e apreensão determinados pelo STF. Segundo a corporação, a operação, batizada de Lesa Pátria, está sendo feita em São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul e no Distrito Federal.
“Os fatos investigados constituem, em tese, os crimes de abolição violenta do Estado Democrático de Direito, golpe de Estado, dano qualificado, associação criminosa, incitação ao crime, destruição e deterioração ou inutilização de bem especialmente protegido”, afirmou a PF.
A Polícia Federal informou que esta é a primeira fase da operação Lesa Pátria, que será permanente. As diligências desta sexta visam “identificar pessoas que participaram, financiaram ou fomentaram” os atos golpistas do início do mês.
A PF não deu mais detalhes sobre a operação de imediato e tampouco informou os nomes dos alvos dos mandados de prisão preventiva. Ao mesmo tempo, disse que fornecerá “atualizações periódicas” sobre o número de mandados judiciais expedidos, pessoas capturadas e foragidas.
Separadamente, a Polícia Federal também informou que realiza a operação Última Patrulha, no Pará, para o cumprimento de oito mandados de busca e apreensão determinados pela 3ª Vara Federal Criminal da Seção Judiciária do Pará, no Tribunal Regional Federal da 1ª Região (TRF-1), contra pessoas apontadas como extremistas antidemocráticos que teriam contribuído com os ataques em Brasília.
“De acordo com as investigações, os seis extremistas alvos dos mandados prestaram auxílio material para tentar, com emprego de violência ou grave ameaça, abolir o Estado Democrático de Direito, impedindo ou restringindo o exercício dos Poderes constitucionais”, disse a PF no Pará, sem revelar nomes.
“Eles são suspeitos de aderir, coordenar ou financiar o movimento antidemocrático que invadiu e vandalizou os prédios do Palácio do Planalto, do Supremo Tribunal Federal e do Congresso Nacional. A investigação começou a partir das postagens em redes sociais de participantes do movimento contra o Estado Democrático de Direito.”
