A governadora em exercício do Distrito Federal, Celina Leão se reuniu nesta segunda-feira (6) com o arcebispo de Brasília, cardeal Dom Paulo Cezar, na Cúria Metropolitana de Brasília.
No envontro, entre os assuntos tratados entre o líder religioso e a governadora eles conversaram sobre a parceria da Igreja Católica com a gestão local
“É importante dialogar com as lideranças religiosas para que todos possam exercer a sua doutrina e ter o seu espaço no Distrito Federal por direito”, afirmou a governadora em exercício. “Temos algumas parcerias que têm beneficiado a Igreja Católica, como a regularização das escrituras de seus templos e também as de outras religiões, o que tem sido muito positivo”, ressaltou Celina.
Desde 2019, o GDF já entregou 287 escrituras de regularização fundiária de terrenos ocupados por templos religiosos e entidades de assistência social por toda a capital.
Dom Paulo Cezar agradeceu a visita e destacou que o objetivo é regularizar muitos outros terrenos ocupados por igrejas, com o apoio do governo.
Outro tema abordado foi sobre o dia 8 de janeiro e os tristes episódios relacionados aos ataques antidemocráticos, na capital federal, no início de janeiro.
O cardeal comentou sobre os ataques às sedes dos três Poderes, no último dia 8 de janeiro. “Falamos sobre os momentos difíceis que o DF passou e como a governadora em exercício conseguiu conduzir o momento com sabedoria, protegendo o DF e as pessoas”, comentou.
