Justiça manda bloquear R$ 40 milhões e determina 20 mandados de busca e apreensão
A Operação Pequod, deflagrada nesta sexta-feira (10) é contra o bicheiro Rogério Andrade e parentes, mas nãohápedidodeprisão. A operação é coordenada pelo Ministério Público do Rio de Janeiro (MPRJ) e pela Polícia Civil do RJ contra lavagem de dinheiro.
São 25 mandados de busca e apreensão e a Justiça mandou bloquear R$ 40 milhões em bens e valores.
Também são alvo de buscas o filho e o irmão de Rogério Andrade, Gustavo e Renato.

A força-tarefa afirma que os rendimentos lícitos dos suspeitos não são compatíveis com o patrimônio adquirido nos últimos anos. O período analisado de irregularidades foi de 2012 a 2018.
Entre os endereços visitados estavam a casa de Rogério, em um condomínio de luxo na Barra da Tijuca, um restaurante em Ipanema — do qual o bicheiro é sócio — e o barracão e a quadra da escola de samba Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel.
Houve buscas ainda nas cidades de Angra dos Reis, na Costa Verde fluminense, e de Vitória da Conquista (BA).

A investigação foi conduzida pela 4ª Promotoria de Justiça de Investigação Penal Especializada do Núcleo Rio de Janeiro do MPRJ e pelo Laboratório de Lavagem de Dinheiro da Polícia Civil.
Quatro meses preso
O bicheiro tinha sido preso em agosto do ano passado a mando da 1ª Vara Criminal Especializada da Capital, do Tribunal de Justiça do Rio, dentro da Operação Calígula. Aquela decisão citava investigações que indicavam que uma pessoa ligada a Rogério pagava propina para policiais de delegacias especializadas.
Em dezembro, o ministro Jorge Mussi, do Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ), deferiu uma liminar para substituir a prisão por medidas cautelares. Assim, Rogério deixou o presídio de Bangu 8.
A Operação Calígula, deflagrada pelo MPRJ no dia 10 de maio, teve mais de 30 denunciados, 14 presos e Gustavo e Rogério como foragidos. O nome de Rogério chegou a constar da lista dos mais procurados da Interpol.
Segundo a denúncia do MPRJ que embasou a operação, Rogério Andrade expandia seus negócios de exploração de jogos de azar em vasta área geográfica, mediante a imposição de domínio territorial com violência, além da prática reiterada e sistêmica dos crimes de corrupção ativa, homicídio, lavagem de dinheiro, extorsão e ameaça.
Rogério seria o chefe da organização criminosa que contava ainda com o agora ex-PM Ronnie Lessa.
Gustavo aparecia como o número 2 na hierarquia criminosa montada pelo pai. É também chamado de Príncipe Regente.
