Ministro do STF afirmou que apenas ele pode liberar visitas; grupo de senadores e deputados foi à Papuda na quarta
O ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), Alexandre de Moraes determinou que a Justiça do Distrito Federal não tem competência para autorizar visitas aos presos pelos atos antidemocráticos do 8 de janeiro.
Relator das apurações no STF sobre o episódio, Moraes afirmou que apenas o seu gabinete pode autorizá-las.
O despacho divulgado nesta sexta-feira (24) é uma resposta a uma portaria da Vara de Execuções Penais do DF sobre visitas aos custodiados.
“Da mesma forma, exclusivamente no que diz respeito às prisões efetuadas em 8/1/2023 por decisão desta SUPREMA CORTE, não se aplica a Portaria VEP 008/2026, expedida pelos Juízes de Direito da Vara de Execuções Penais do Distrito Federal, no que conflitante com esta decisão, razão pela qual o ingresso de quaisquer pessoas no estabelecimento prisional, em relação às mencionadas prisões, deverá ser EXPRESSA e PREVIAMENTE autorizado por este Relator, vedada a entrada sem a referida expressa autorização e revogadas quaisquer decisões do Juízo da VEP/DF e disposições da SEAPE/DF em sentido diverso ao aqui decidido“, disse Moraes na decisão.
