A informação foi confirmada pelo empresário do grupo, Denis Porto. O baixista fez seu último show em um bar de Santa Catarina no último sábado (11), convidado pela banda Sigma para tocar músicas do Raimundos.
A banda Raimundos lançou durante sua carreira nove álbuns de estúdio e músicas como Eu Quero Ver o Oco, I Saw You Saying (That You Say That You Saw), Mulher de Fases e A Mais Pedida.
Canisso fez parte do Raimundos desde a fundação da banda em 1987 até 2002, quando saiu por pouco tempo após o então vocalista Rodolfo Abrantes ter deixado a formação.
Caniço chegou a integrar o Rodox com Rodolfo Abrantes, mas retornou ao grupo Raimundos, sendo um dos integrantes com maior tempo de permanência, além do vocalista e guitarrista Digão.
