Uma explosão de gás de cozinha em um condomínio no Morro do Elefante, em Campos do Jordão (SP), deixou quatro pessoas feridas na noite deste sábado (22). Não há mortos.
Segundo a Defesa Civil, uma mulher de 24 anos e uma adolescente de 14 anos tiveram ferimentos graves e foram socorridas e levadas para o hospital em Taubaté. Uma mulher de 52 anos e outra adolescente de 14 anos tiveram ferimentos leves e foram levadas ao hospital em Campos do Jordão.
O Corpo de Bombeiros informou que ao menos 10 apartamentos foram destruídos. Ainda não há informações sobre a causa da explosão, que aconteceu no Condomínio Saint Etienne Residencial, na Rua dos Manacás. Segundo a corporação, algumas paredes internas foram destruídas, mas não houve colapso do prédio.
Turistas relataram que os vidros de imóveis próximos tremeram e houve um forte barulho por volta das 20h.
O prédio é residencial, mas a maioria dos proprietários aluga para turistas por meio de plataformas de hospedagem.
O condomínio foi interditado e deve passar neste domingo (23) por perícia da Polícia Civil, engenheiros da prefeitura e de técnicos da Defesa Civil. Os condôminos só serão autorizados a voltarem para o local após avaliação das autoridades.
Equipes dos Bombeiros, do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência, Defesa Civil e das polícias militar e civil foram mobilizadas para atender a ocorrência.
