Governo Lula ganha presidência, vice e relatoria

O governo do presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) conseguiu vencer a primeira batalha na CPMI de 8 de janeiro ao emplacar Arthur Maia (União-BA) na presidência do colegiado; Cid Gomes (PDT-CE), na vice e a senadora Eliziane Gama (PSD-MA) na relatoria.

Entre todos os integrantes da CPMI, o governo Lula não poderia ter um nome melhor. Eliziane é lulista de carteirinha e aliada de primeira hora do ministro da Justiça, Flávio Dino. Ao longo da CPI da Covid, a parlamentar ganhou projeção nacional e foi sondada para ser candidata à Vice-Presidência da República na chapa de Simone Tebet (MDB), hoje ministra do Planejamento.

Eliziane trabalhou intensamente pelo apoio de Dino para disputar o cargo de governadora do Maranhão. Foi preterida por Dino, que indicou seu vice, Carlos Brandão, para a disputa. Brandão, diga-se, era tucano histórico.

Mesmo posta de lado, Eliziane evitou críticas públicas ao hoje ministro da Justiça e manteve uma fidelidade canina ao grupo político dinista. Após ter sido preterida, evitou o vitimismo e se tornou uma das principais vozes da oposição ao governo Bolsonaro no Congresso. Aguerrida e crítica de setores mais extremos da Direita, Eliziane tende a fazer um relatório absolutamente pró-governo – isentando o Planalto de qualquer responsabilidade sobre os atos de 8 de janeiro.

Arthur Maia é o clássico homem político: avesso a polêmicas, terá como desafio manter algum fio de serenidade à investigação.  Cid Gomes, quando assumir o cargo de Maia em determinados momentos, tende a garantir o show ao público com seu estilo estourado.

Ou seja, tudo dominado.
