COBERTURA DE 540 M² FOI OMITIDA EM DECLARAÇÃO DE EX-GOVERNADOR
O atual presidente da Apex-Brasil, indicado pelo presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), o ex-senador e ex-governador do Acre, Jorge Viana (PT-AC) comprou um apartamento de luxo em fevereiro do ano passado, mas não o declarou à Justiça Eleitoral.
A tentativa de esconder o apartamento foi descoberta pelo jornalismo.
O Jornal O Estado de São Paulo descobriu o imóvel milionário mantido até hoje em nome de terceiros.
A cobertura duplex está avaliada em R$ 4,2 milhões -valor maior do que todo o patrimônio de R$ 3,6 milhões informado pelo petista ao Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) nas eleições de outubro, quando disputou novamente o cargo de governador do Acre, mas perdeu.
O duplex de Jorge Viana tem uma área total de 540 m². São quatro quartos, sendo duas suítes, além de salas de estar e de jantar, cozinha e hall íntimo. Na parte superior, a cobertura conta com spa, churrasqueira, ducha e uma vista privilegiada do Lago Paranoá, na capitaldo Brasil.
Por meio da assessoria, Viana disse ter declarado o imóvel à Receita Federal na declaração do Imposto de Renda deste ano, mas não explicou por que não o fez à Justiça Eleitoral.
O apartamento foi entregue em dezembro do ano passado. Viana assumiu a Apex e logo mobiliou o espaço, cuja área total equivale a duas quadras de tênis. Mais de um ano e meio depois da aquisição, contudo, o imóvel ainda segue no nome da imobiliária.
O atual presidente da República, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, também do PT, foi condenado pela Operação Lava Jato, e em todas as esferas do judiciário por também deixar imóvel no nome do vendedor. Diferente de Lula, Viana declarou o imóvel à Receita Federal.
No caso de Lula ficou comprovado na Justiça que ele praticou lavagem de dinheiro desviado dos cofres públicos. Lula foi preso, mas teve suas condenações anuladas pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) que não mudou de opinião sobre o crime, mas anulou por considerar que o julgamento teria de ser em outro lugar, e não onde se iniciaram as investigações.
Já, Jorge Viana alega, por meio de sua assessoria, disse ao Estadão que a compra do duplex foi feita por financiamento e que o processo de transferência está em tramitação.
Segundo Renato Ribeiro de Almeida, especialista em Direito Eleitoral, como a candidatura já transitou em julgado, não é mais possível instaurar ação para levar a algum tipo de condenação.
Caso Viana tivesse sido eleito, ele poderia ter de comprovar a evolução patrimonial ao longo do mandato e, para isso, teria que explicar por que não declarou o imóvel que já possuía.
