Ex-jogador da seleção, treinador, comentarista esportivo e agora coordenador de futebol do Santos FC foi denunciado, na manhã desta sexta-feira (4), na Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher e pediu demissão do Santos
O ex-jogador da seleção brasileira Paulo Roberto Falcão foi denunciado por suspeita de importunação sexual na manhã desta sexta-feira (4) por uma funcionária do apart hotel onde mora em Santos, no litoral de São Paulo. O caso foi registrado na Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher (DDM) do município.
Uma recepcionista do local afirmou à polícia ter sido importunada por Falcão, que desde agosto de 2022 é coordenador esportivo do Santos FC. Com base no Boletim de Ocorrência (BO), a autoridade policial, a fim de preservar a intimidade da vítima, decidiu resumir as informações no documento.
O texto diz, ainda, que como “os atos” de Falcão “não deixaram vestígios”, não será necessário exame de corpo de delito.
Falcão vive neste hotel e teria assediado a recepcionista em duas oportunidades. O caso foi registrado na Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher de Santos.

“Em respeito à torcida do Santos Futebol Clube, pelos recentes protestos diante do desempenho do time em campo, decidi deixar o cargo de coordenador esportivo nesta data. Meu sentimento, em primeiro lugar, é defender a imagem da instituição. Sobre a acusação feita nesta sexta-feira, que recebi com surpresa pela mídia, afirmo que não aconteceu”.

Logo após ter encerrado a carreira, em 1990, assumiu o comando técnico da seleção por um ano. Depois foi técnico do América (México), Internacional, Bahia, Sport, além do Japão.
Em 2022, após anos como comentarista esportivo, Falcão foi convencido pelo presidente do Santos FC, Andrés Rueda, a assumir o cargo coordenador esportivo.
