- Já considerando transações apenas entre pessoas jurídicas privadas, ainda há certa concentração na faixa até R$ 500
- Entre pessoas jurídicas, 18,6% das transações têm valor a partir de R$ 2 mil

De acordo com a instituição, houve crescimento no volume de recursos transferido por meio do PIX, que atingiu R$ 1,2 trilhão em dezembro de 2022, uma alta de 914% em dois anos.
“O PIX teve rápida aceitação pela população brasileira. Tanto a quantidade de transações quanto o volume financeiro cresceram progressivamente desde seu lançamento”, acrescentou o Banco Central.
O Banco Central também informou que o PIX poderá ser usado para novas finalidades no futuro, como, por exemplo, em pedágios, estacionamentos, transporte público, compras parceladas e transferências internacionais.
