A polícia Civil do DF e de São Paulo atuaram em conjunto na manhã desta terça-feira (19) em uma operação contra estelionatários que simulam leilões de carros pela Internet.
Foram cumpridos dois mandados de busca e apreensão na cidade de Santo André (SP). Durante as buscas, os investigadores apreenderam dispositivos eletrônicos e documentos diversos. A Justiça também autorizou procedimentos de take down (derrubada) e take over (pegar o controle) do site investigado, visando evitar que novas vítimas acessem a aplicação e sofram prejuízo.
Imitando páginas reconhecidas e respeitadas de leilão online, estelionatários embolsaram ao menos R$ 3 milhões. O grupo foi alvo da Operação Almoeda, deflagrada pela Coordenação de Repressão aos Crimes Contra o Consumidor, a Propriedade Imaterial e a Fraudes (Corf).
As apurações duraram quatro meses. A ação teve apoio do Instituto de Criminalística da Polícia Civil (PCDF) e de policiais da Polícia Civil de São Paulo.
Os criminosos fizeram vítimas em todo o país. Mais de 200 ocorrências já foram registradas contra a quadrilha na capital federal. No site fraudado, as vítimas chegaram a “arrematar” carros como T-Cross por R$ 50 mil, Jeep Compass por R$ 79 mil e EcoSport por R$ 13 mil.

Segundo as investigações, os criminosos criavam páginas falsas na internet com o objetivo de simular operações fraudulentas de leilão de veículos, induzindo as vítimas a realizar lances e depósitos em contas bancárias dos supostos “leiloeiros”.
As páginas fraudulentas eram impulsionadas em plataformas digitais para que as aplicações ganhassem destaque em relação aos sites oficiais dedicados à atividade de leilão. Visando dar maior credibilidade, os investigados alegavam que o procedimento era homologado por tribunais de Justiça, fazendo, inclusive utilizando indevidamente símbolos e marcas de diversos órgãos do Poder Judiciário.
Com uso de modernas ferramentas de investigação, foi possível identificar os administradores do site e demonstrar que o grupo criminoso tem relação com outros 10 sites fraudulentos de leilão online em diversos estados, como Paraná, São Paulo, Santa Catarina, entre outros.
