CPF é o número de registro, mas atual RG terá validade até 2032
A partir desta terça-feira (21), o Distrito Federal dá início à emissão da Carteira de Identidade Nacional (CIN), um marco importante na unificação dos documentos de identificação no País. A CIN adota o número do Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas (CPF) como Registro Geral (RG) nacional. A população não precisa correr agora para fazer a nova identidade. O documento atual permanece válido até 2032.
A primeira via da CIN é gratuita, sendo um benefício para todos os cidadãos. Para aqueles que já possuem a nova CIN, emitida em outro estado ou no DF, será cobrada uma taxa de R$ 42 para a emissão da segunda via no Distrito Federal.
A regulamentação da CIN ocorreu por meio do Decreto nº 10.977, de 23 de fevereiro de 2022. A partir de 6 de dezembro de 2023, todos os estados brasileiros e o Distrito Federal deverão emitir a CIN. A validade da CIN varia de acordo com a faixa etária: cinco anos para bebês e crianças de até 12 anos incompletos, dez anos dos 12 aos 60 anos incompletos, e validade indeterminada para pessoas acima dos 60 anos.
Passo 1: Consulte se seu CPF está regular junto à Receita Federal neste link. Se o seu CPF estiver regular ou pendente de regularização, você está apto a fazer a CIN.
Se precisar regularizar o CPF, procure a Receita Federal pessoalmente ou no site.
→ Passo 2: Reúna seu CPF regular, a certidão de nascimento ou casamento atualizada, em via original, em versão física ou meio digital, ou cópia autenticada em cartório. Atenção: os dados da certidão devem coincidir com os registros da Receita Federal, como seu nome completo, nome da sua mãe e sua data de nascimento.
→ Passo 3: Com os documentos em mãos, procure o Posto de Identificação Biométrica (PIB) da PCDF mais próximo.
São nove PIBs em diversas regiões do DF, funcionando das 7h às 19h sem agendamento, por ordem de chegada. Estão localizados na Asa Sul (1ª DP), no Cruzeiro (3ª DP), no Guará (4ª DP), em Planaltina (16ª DP), em Samambaia (32ª DP), em Santa Maria (33ª DP), no Paranoá (6ª DP), em São Sebastião (30ª DP) e no Recanto das Emas (27ª DP). Nos PIBs as senhas são distribuídas de acordo com a capacidade operacional da unidade e as prioridades legais são respeitadas.
