Ontem, um dos presos desde o dia 8 de janeiro, morreu na prisão

A Polícia Federal tenta prender nesta terça-feira (21) mais dois suspeitos de terem participado das manifestações contra o Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) e o presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) que depredaram as sedes dos Três Poderes no dia 8 de janeiro deste ano.

Segundo a corporação, também estão fsendo cumpridos mandados de buscas e apreensão contra dez investigados nas cidades de João Pessoa (PB), Cabedelo (PB), Bayeux (PB), Mirassol do Oeste (MT) e Cáceres (MT).

Os nomes dos alvos dos mandados de prisão preventiva e buscas não foram divulgados.

Esta é a 20ª fase da operação Lesa Pátria, iniciada nos dias seguintes aos atos de vandalismo na Esplanada dos Ministérios. Segundo o STF, os fatos investigados constituem, em tese, crimes de abolição violenta do Estado Democrático de Direito, golpe de Estado, dano qualificado, associação criminosa, incitação ao crime, destruição e deterioração ou inutilização de bem especialmente protegido e crimes da lei de terrorismo.
