Operação é contra suspeitos de entregar 43 mil armas para facções brasileiras
A Polícia Federal deflagrou nesta terça-feira (5) uma operação contra suspeitos de fornecerem mais de 43 mil armas e munições assassinos das maiores quadrilhas do país.
A Justiça da Bahia, que conduz a operação, determinou que os alvos de prisão que estiverem no exterior sejam incluídos na lista vermelha da Interpol e que, se forem presos, sejam extraditados para o Brasil.
Segundo as investigações, o esquema de entrega de armas para gangues do crime organizado teria movimentando R$ 1,2 bilhão.
São cumpridos 25 mandados de prisão preventiva, seis de prisão temporária e 52 mandados de busca e apreensão em três países: Brasil, Estados Unidos e Paraguai.
O principal alvo da operação, Diego Hernan Dirísio estaria no Paraguai e ainda não foi encontrado.
A investigação começou em 2020, quando pistolas e munições foram apreendidas no interior da Bahia. As armas estavam com o número de série raspado, mas, por meio de perícia, a PF conseguiu obter as informações e avançar na investigação.
Três anos mais tarde, a cooperação internacional que resultou na operação desta terça indica que um homem argentino, dono de uma empresa chamada IAS, com sede no Paraguai, comprava pistolas, fuzis, rifles, metralhadoras e munições de fabricantes de países como Croácia, Turquia, República Tcheca e Eslovênia.
Após a compra, as armas eram vendidas para facções brasileiras, em especial de São Paulo e do Rio de Janeiro. O esquema envolvia também doleiros e empresas de fachada no Paraguai e nos EUA.
As investigações indicam ainda que havia corrupção e tráfico de influência na Direccion de Material Belico (DIMABEL), órgão paraguaio responsável por controlar, fiscalizar e liberar o uso de armas, facilitando o funcionamento do esquema.
