Assassino de chef de cozinha espanhol e esposa brasileira em Porto Seguro é identificado

A Polícia Civil da Bahia informou, nesta sexta-feira (8), que identificou o suspeito de matar o chef espanhol David Pegrina Capó, de 53 anos, e a brasileira Érica da Silva Santos, de 38, em Porto Seguro, no extremo sul da Bahia.

O suspeito do crime foi identificado como Eliandro Lourenço de Menezes, de 46 anos. Ele teria matado o chef espanhol e a esposa dele por causa de uma promessa feita por David Pegrina.

Há um mandado de prisão preventiva em aberto e ele está foragido. A principal linha de investigação aponta para vingança. O crime aconteceu no dia 24 de novembro.

De acordo com o delegado que investiga o caso, Paulo Henrique de Oliveira, o chef de cozinha David Pegrina teria prometido dar uma parte da Ilha do Pau do Macaco, que pertencia ao casal, para o suspeito.

A promessa teria sido feita em troca de um período de três meses em que o suspeito trabalhou como caseiro enquanto o casal estava na Europa. Como o acordo foi descumprido, Eliandro teria se vingado do casal.

O delegado informou ainda que, em uma ação realizada pela Polícia Federal em 2019, Eliandro foi acusado pelo crime de tráfico de drogas e teve a prisão preventiva decretada. No entanto, ele fugiu da ilha e nunca mais foi visto.

Ele teria retornado para a ilha após notícias de que o restaurante de David e Érica estaria fazendo sucesso na região, inclusive sendo frequentado por artistas.

O filho do suspeito, que não teve a identidade revelada, se apresentou na quinta-feira (7), na delegacia de Porto Seguro, e teve mandado de prisão temporária expedido. Em depoimento, ele informou aos policiais que o pai disse ter cometido o crime e que não iria se entregar.

A princípio, a polícia acreditava que o filho de Eliandro tinha participação no crime. No entanto, o homem apresentou um álibi e negou envolvimento. A hipótese atual é que outras duas pessoas possam ter ajudado Eliandro no duplo homicídio.

A polícia esclareceu que acredita que o crime não tem relação com as condenações de David na Espanha por fraude, apropriação indébita e falsificação de documentos.

No entanto, o delegado Paulo Henrique Oliveira relatou que há suspeita de que a compra da ilha por David tenha sido com dinheiro oriundo dos crimes na Espanha, “já que o valor da propriedade é estimado em mais de R$ 1 milhão”.

Segundo o jornal espanhol Diario de Mallorca, ele foi diretor de uma agência bancária e entre 2003 e 2004, dirigiu um esquema que fraudou cerca de dois milhões de euros através da concessão de hipotecas falsas.

Apesar de ter sido condenado, os mandados de prisão expedidos contra ele na Europa foram anulados por causa do tempo do crime, cerca de 20 anos.

David e Érica foram encontrados mortos, com marcas de tiros, na área do restaurante deles, “Os Ribeirinhos”. Érica foi encontrada nua, na parte externa do local.

Apesar de estar sem roupa, as investigações apontaram que ela não foi vítima de abuso sexual. Já o corpo de David foi encontrado dentro de casa.

Além do casal, o filho de Érica vivia no imóvel, mas não estava no local no momento do crime.

David era natural da ilha turística de Mallorca, no Mediterrâneo, e a brasileira era de Itagimirim, cidade que fica a 100 km de Porto Seguro. Ambos foram enterrados na cidade natal de Érica.

Donos do “Os Ribeirinhos”, restaurante intimista e cercado pelo verde, o casal também costumava participar de festivais gastronômicos. O mais recente compartilhado em uma rede social foi o “Festival Esquina do Mundo”, que ocorreu entre os dias 1º e 18 de novembro em Arraial d’Ajuda, distrito de Porto Seguro.

Em uma rede social, o chef também compartilhava fotos do dia a dia, da natureza e dos pratos preparados no restaurante.

Não há informações sobre quantos anos o casal estava junto, nem o tempo em que David morava na Bahia.
