A Polícia Civil da Paraíba deflagrou, no início da manhã desta sexta-feira (25), uma operação para combater o crime organizado e aprofundar as investigações sobre o desaparecimento de Gabriel Lurz Pinheiro Pitta de 22 anos na comunidade Paulo Afonso, em João Pessoa.
Segundo a Polícia, a ação, coordenada pela Delegacia de Homicídios da Capital, visa esclarecer o desaparecimento de Gabriel Lutz Pinheiro Pitta, ocorrido após o jovem entrar na comunidade no sábado (19).
Segundo amigos de Gabriel, ele é uma pessoa trabalhadora e serviu à Marinha. Conhecidos acreditam que ele possa ter sido confundido como integrante de facção rival, já que na área existe disputa entre ganques violentas do crime organizado.
Durante a operação, foram presos suspeitos de envolvimento no caso, e a polícia investiga se Gabriel está sequestrado ou foi morto na região após tentar comprar maconha.
A Polícia Civil também tentou localizar o jovem, com o apoio do canil e do helicóptero Acauã, que sobrevoava a área, mas não encontrou Gabriel.
A polícia informou que os criminosos expulsam moradores de suas casas para lucrar com o aluguel dos imóveis, obrigavam a esconder armas e drogas e utilizavam a mata para a prática de crimes.
Foram expedidos 15 mandados de busca e apreensão e oito de prisão, com seis pessoas presas até o momento. A principal liderança da organização criminosa está presa em um presídio e foi alvo de dois mandados. De acordo com a Polícia Civil, o cumprimento dos mandados também resultou na apreensão de armas, drogas, aparelhos celulares e uma quantia em dinheiro.
A Operação “Devaste” conta com o apoio do Corpo de Bombeiros, do canil da polícia, do helicóptero Acauã e da Polícia Militar. Diversas equipes foram distribuídas pela comunidade e realizaram uma varredura completa na área. Um grande efetivo policial foi mobilizado, com a participação de 80 a 100 agentes.
Familiares e amigos de Gabriel acreditam que o jovem estava na hora errada no local errado. Segundo familiares, Gabriel é trabalhador e desapareceu depois de ter acompanhado um amigo até a comunidade, provavelmente para adquirir um baseado para uso recreativo.
Amigos de trabalho de Gabriel também estão preocupados com o desaparecimento, já que Gabriel nunca deixou de ir ao trabalho sem justificativa.
