Uma carreta de gás natural foi atingida por um trem em uma passagem de nível em Paraíba do Sul (RJ), na manhã desta quarta-feira (20). O acidente ocorreu após o caminhão não conseguir manobrar e parar sobre os trilhos.

Segundo a Prefeitura de Paraíba do Sul, a carreta havia agendado a travessia e contava com o suporte da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM), que prestou orientações sobre o perfil da manobra. A primeira carreta passou normalmente, mas o motorista da segunda não seguiu o comando e, ao tentar atravessar inadequadamente, houve o erro de cálculo, resultando na colisão com a passagem de trem.
De acordo com a Defesa Civil, a carga do caminhão estava vazia, o que eliminou qualquer risco de explosão.
A Prefeitura informou ainda que o acesso ao Jardim Velho permanece liberado, facilitando o trânsito no Centro da cidade.
Segundo o Corpo de Bombeiros, ninguém ficou ferido. O comércio na área estava fechado no momento do acidente e a via foi interditada.
