Um segundo caso suspeito de intoxicação por metanol foi registrado no Distrito Federal registrou, nesta sexta-feira (3).
Um homem de 47 anos deu entrada na UPA de Brazlândia com sintomas compatíveis com o quadro de intoxicação pela substância. Ele está intubado, e o estado de saúde é considerado grave.
Há previsão de que o paciente seja transferido em breve para a unidade de terapia intensiva (UTI) do Hospital Regional de Santa Maria (HRSM).
O 1º caso do DF suspeito de intoxicação por metanol, após consumo de bebida alcoólica, é o do cantor Hungria, 34 anos. Ele está internado no Hospital DF Star, onde realiza tratamento.
Hungria afirmou que está se recuperando bem e, em breve, voltará para casa. “Estou me recuperando da melhor maneira possível e logo, logo estarei de volta em casa, mais forte e com fé renovada. Obrigado por fazerem parte dessa caminhada comigo, cada gesto de vocês tem feito toda a diferença. Deus abençoe todos vocês!”, completou.
O secretário de Saúde do DF, Juracy Lacerda, disse que a Vigilância Sanitária, em ação conjunta com outros órgãos, intensificou a fiscalização de estabelecimentos que vendem bebida alcoólica.
“A Secretaria de Saúde tem se preocupado com a pauta e intensificou as ações diante dos acontecimentos em São Paulo”, afirmou o secretário.
Em São Paulo, seis pessoas morreram – um caso foi confirmado como intoxicação por metanol relacionado a bebida adulterada, e os outros estão em investigação.
