Pessoas da mesma família, sendo cinco crianças e dois adultos, morreram depois que o carro em que estavam caiu em rio em Águas Lindas (GO)
A tragédia no Entorno que matou 7 pessoas, sendo 5 crianças teve desdobramento dramático. A menina de 12 anos que sobreviveu foi responsável por pedir ajuda depois que o carro em que estava com a família caiu em um rio, neste domingo (12), no Dia das Crianças, em Águas Lindas de Goiás, no Entorno do Distrito Federal.
O trágico acidente deixou sete parentes dela mortos, sendo cinco crianças e dois adultos.
O carro tentou subir uma estrada de chão passando por uma ponte estreita, mas deslizou e caiu da ponte com as rodas para cima. A água invadiu o interior do veículo. No momento do acidente, a menina de 12 anos foi arremessada. Mesmo ferida, a criança buscou socorro. “Ela voltou no clube onde estavam e pediu ajuda. Mas quando as pessoas chegaram a família estava em estado avançado de afogamento”, contou o major Gabriel Lins dos Santos, comandante do 20° Batalhão Bombeiro Militar Águas Lindas.
A família voltava de um clube, onde comemorava o Dia das Crianças. Um casal levava sete crianças. Entre elas, duas filhas, de 6 e 3 anos. Além delas, a sobrinha que sobreviveu e outros e três sobrinhos de 10 anos, 4 anos e 1 ano e dois meses.
As vítimas foram deixadas às margens do rio. “Quando nós chegamos já não havia mais chances de recuperar as vidas das pessoas”, lamentou o major. A Polícia Militar (PMGO) e a Polícia Técnico-Científica da Polícia Civil (PCGO) ficaram responsáveis pela área e pelos procedimentos periciais. Bastante abalada, mas com sinais vitais estáveis, a menina sobrevivente foi transportada para a Unidade de Pronto-Atendimento (UPA) de Águas Lindas.
Segundo o major Gabriel Lins, o local do acidente é perigoso e o risco aumenta durante as chuvas. A lama costuma gerar atoleiros e alguns veículos não conseguem subir inclinações e acabam deslizando. “É preciso ter atenção”, alertou. Os pais da menina sobrevivente também estavam no clube, mas voltavam em outro veículo atrás do automóvel da tragédia. O carro deles conseguiu passar pela ponte, mas não eles não viram a queda do carro das parentes.
“Ao chegar em casa, deram falta dos parentes. Ao retornar, viram toda a cena”, contou. Para o major, a população deve redobrar os cuidados nos deslocamentos. “Neste período de chuvas, as pessoas devem se abrigar, esperar a chuva passar para fazer os deslocamentos. Porque a força das águas é um risco. Há queda de árvores, ventos. Essas primeiras tempestades são muito perigosas. Em ocasiões de chuva, evite deslocamentos e se abrigue”, pontuou.
