Stefanie Pieper, influenciadora digital austríaca de beleza e moda, de 31 anos, foi encontrada morta no último sábado (29) em uma floresta na Eslovênia após desaparecer dias antes em 23 de novembro. Desaparecimento e investigação
Stefanie foi vista pela última vez ao retornar de uma festa de Natal. Quando não compareceu a uma sessão de fotos no dia seguinte e não atendia ligações, familiares acionaram a polícia. No apartamento da influencer, a polícia encontrou o cachorro sozinho e manchas de sangue. O ex-namorado dela, Peter M., de 31 anos, foi preso na Eslovênia e confessou ter estrangulado Stefanie, colocado o corpo dela em uma mala e enterrado na floresta.
Na noite anterior ao seu desaparecimento, em 22 de novembro, Pieper participou de uma festa de fim de ano no centro de Grazn, no distrito de Geidorf, sudeste da Áustria, região onde tinha residência. De acordo com o jornal britânico IBTimes, ela saiu apenas no dia seguinte, por volta das 7h da manhã, e dividiu um táxi com uma amiga para voltar para casa.

Mais tarde, os vizinhos relataram ter ouvido barulhos altos vindos do apartamento dela e, pouco depois, a polícia encontrou o celular da mulher jogado em um arbusto perto de sua casa.

Além do ex-namorado preso, dois parentes dele foram detidos e estão sendo interrogados para apuração de envolvimento no crime. A polícia austríaca, em cooperação com as autoridades eslovenas, localizou o corpo após o suspeito indicar o local. O veículo do ex-namorado foi encontrado incendiado próximo à fronteira, e ele tinha feito várias viagens suspeitas entre Áustria e Eslovênia antes do crime.
