A vice-governadora do Distrito Federal, Celina Leão (PP) postou em suas redes sociais um convite para os moradores de Brasília participarem do “Dia de Plantar”.
O Dia de Plantar 2025 acontece neste domingo (7), com a meta de mobilizar todas as regiões administrativas do Distrito Federal para o plantio simultâneo de 15 mil mudas nativas do Cerrado, em áreas degradadas e parques ecológicos.
Instituído por decreto em 2023, o primeiro domingo de dezembro passou a ser, oficialmente, o dia anual de plantio de mudas nativas do bioma, em uma política permanente de restauração ecológica.
O que é o Dia de Plantar
O Dia de Plantar é uma ação anual do Governo do Distrito Federal que estimula moradores a plantar árvores nativas nas suas cidades, em parceria com comitês ambientais e movimentos como o Tempo de Plantar.
A data foi oficializada pelo Decreto nº 44.606/2023, que fixou o primeiro domingo de dezembro como o “dia do plantio de mudas nativas do Cerrado” em todo o DF.
O objetivo central é regenerar áreas degradadas, ampliar a cobertura vegetal e fortalecer a cultura de cuidado com o Cerrado, um dos biomas mais ameaçados do país. A iniciativa também busca envolver famílias, escolas, escoteiros, coletivos ambientais e administrações regionais em uma experiência prática de educação ambiental.
Programação deste domingo
A edição de 2025 prevê o plantio de 15 mil mudas de espécies nativas, sendo 10 mil fornecidas pela Novacap e 5 mil pelo Instituto Arvoredo.
O ponto central da programação será o Parque Ecológico do Cortado, em Taguatinga, com concentração a partir das 8h30, mas haverá ações distribuídas em diversas cidades, como Guará, Gama, Planaltina, Sudoeste e Riacho Fundo I.
No Guará, o mutirão integra o projeto Tempo de Plantar, com atividade no Bosque dos Eucaliptos envolvendo moradores, escoteiros, Rotary, entidades locais e órgãos como Administração Regional, Sema, Ibram e Novacap.
No Gama, Planaltina, Sudoeste e Riacho Fundo I, comitês de plantio e administrações regionais organizam pontos de encontro específicos para que a população participe do mutirão pela manhã.

Estrutura e parceiros
A coordenação do Dia de Plantar envolve a Secretaria do Meio Ambiente (Sema-DF), o Instituto Brasília Ambiental (Ibram), a Novacap e a Secretaria de Governo (Segov), além de administrações regionais e comitês de plantio.
Movimentos da sociedade civil, como o Tempo de Plantar, articulam voluntários e divulgam pontos de plantio em redes sociais, com foco especial nas chuvas de dezembro para garantir maior taxa de sobrevivência das mudas.
Entidades comunitárias e de serviço — como Rotary, Lions, grupos escoteiros, projetos sociais e coletivos de reciclagem — atuam no apoio logístico, na mobilização de moradores e em ações de educação ambiental durante o plantio.
Em várias cidades, a programação inclui distribuição de mudas, rodas de conversa e atividades com crianças e jovens, ligando regeneração ambiental e participação cidadã.
Celina Leão e a política ambiental
Autora de diversas iniciativas na área social e hoje vice-governadora do Distrito Federal, Celina Leão construiu trajetória política pautada em projetos de lei e programas voltados à qualidade de vida e à proteção de grupos vulneráveis.
Na condição de vice-governadora, integra o núcleo político que apoia ações estruturadas de meio ambiente, como o fortalecimento de programas de restauração ecológica e parcerias com a sociedade civil.
