Advogado do ex-presidente disse que foram identificadas duas hérnias inguinais e Bolsonaro terá que passar por cirurgia para tratamento
O ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro passou neste domingo, 14 de dezembro de 2025, por exames de ultrassonografia realizados na Superintendência da Polícia Federal, em Brasília, e recebeu dos médicos a recomendação de se submeter a uma nova cirurgia. Os exames identificaram duas hérnias inguinais, uma em cada lado da região da virilha, e, segundo a equipe médica, o tratamento definitivo para o quadro é cirúrgico.
O procedimento foi realizado dentro da própria unidade da Polícia Federal onde Bolsonaro cumpre pena em regime fechado desde 22 de novembro, após autorização do ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal. O exame foi feito com equipamento portátil, a pedido da defesa, com o objetivo de atualizar o quadro clínico do ex-presidente e subsidiar a avaliação judicial sobre a necessidade de intervenção médica.
De acordo com o advogado João Henrique Nascimento de Freitas, responsável pela execução penal de Bolsonaro, a equipe médica concluiu a avaliação ainda na tarde deste domingo e deixou a superintendência da PF após finalizar os exames. A perícia médica oficial da Polícia Federal, determinada anteriormente por Alexandre de Moraes para avaliar de forma independente o estado de saúde do ex-presidente, segue em andamento.
Os médicos constataram que as hérnias inguinais podem provocar dor, desconforto e risco de agravamento do quadro, especialmente em situações de esforço físico ou aumento da pressão abdominal. A defesa informou que a equipe assistente considera a cirurgia a única alternativa capaz de resolver de forma definitiva o problema, recomendando que o procedimento seja realizado em ambiente hospitalar, sob anestesia geral.
Relatórios médicos anexados aos pedidos encaminhados ao Supremo apontam que Bolsonaro vinha se queixando de dores persistentes na região inguinal, agravadas por episódios de soluços frequentes, além de relatar piora recente do quadro clínico. Os documentos mencionam, ainda, alterações em exames laboratoriais, utilizadas pelos advogados como argumento para sustentar a urgência da intervenção cirúrgica.

A decisão final sobre a realização da cirurgia e sobre uma eventual saída temporária de Bolsonaro da unidade prisional caberá ao ministro Alexandre de Moraes, que deverá considerar os laudos apresentados pela defesa e o parecer da perícia oficial da Polícia Federal. Até o início da noite deste domingo, o pedido ainda aguardava análise no Supremo Tribunal Federal.
