A esposa do policial militar, de 34 anos, suspeito de matar o enfermeiro Ítalo Fernando de Melo a tiros, confessou que estava com a vítima em um quarto de motel em Arapiraca, no Agreste de Alagoas. A declaração foi dada em depoimento à polícia. Segundo as investigações, o PM instalou um GPS clandestino no carro da esposa para segui-la até o local. O nome do PM não foi divulgado oficialmente.
Segundo a Polícia Civil, o enfermeiro trabalhava na Unidade de Pronto Atendimento Noel Macedo, em Arapiraca. A mulher que estava com ele no motel também atua na mesma unidade de saúde, de acordo com informações colhidas na investigação.
As informações foram divulgadas nesta segunda-feira (15) pelo coordenador das Delegacias de Homicídios do Interior, Flávio Dutra, ao Jornal AB1 da TV Asa Branca. O delegado também conduz as investigações sobre a morte de Ítalo Fernando de Melo.
“A esposa do PM foi ouvida na condição de declarante, não está presa, mas confessou que estava com a vítima no motel. Em depoimento, ela pegou no sono e quando acordou se deparou com uma pessoa dentro do quarto com capacete e atirando na vítima, fugindo em seguida”, afirmou o delegado.
Ainda de acordo com Dutra, após o crime, o policial militar se apresentou às 8h da manhã no 3º Batalhão de Polícia Militar de Arapiraca, onde foi detido. Os colegas apreenderam a arma do suspeito até a chegada da Polícia Civil, que efetuou a prisão.
O PM não reagiu e negou ter assassinado o enfermeiro. Ele já integrava a Polícia Militar do Ceará, seu estado natal, antes de se transferir para Alagoas, onde foi aprovado em concurso público também para a PM, e se formou na turma de 2024. Segundo a investigação, ele utilizou uma pistola 9mm da corporação, de onde partiram pelo menos sete disparos que mataram a vítima.
Câmeras de segurança do motel registraram a cronologia dos eventos que levaram ao crime. No sábado, as 21h43, o casal entrou no estabelecimento em um Jeep Renegade de cor vermelha. Já no domingo (14), à 0h57, o policial militar chega de motocicleta e, em seguida, começa a procurar pelos dois, de quarto em quarto.
