Um empresário de 28 anos foi preso em flagrante na quarta-feira (7) em Cananéia, no litoral de São Paulo, após se passar por médico em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS) e cometer um erro grotesco: afirmar ter visualizado a vesícula biliar de uma paciente que já havia removido o órgão cirurgicamente.
Wellington Augusto Mazini Silva atuava com equipamentos próprios de ultrassom, assinando laudos falsos e usando o CRM de um médico sócio de uma clínica em São Paulo. A denúncia partiu da própria paciente, que desconfiou do diagnóstico durante o exame e alertou o diretor de Saúde do município, levando à intervenção imediata da Polícia Militar.
Detalhes da fraude e erros médicos
A suspeita surgiu quando Wellington, durante um ultrassom na UBS do Centro, informou à paciente que sua vesícula estava “em boas condições”, ignorando completamente que ela havia passado por colecistectomia anos antes. Outros pacientes relataram erros semelhantes, como um homem em tratamento para esteatose hepática que ouviu do falso profissional não ter “gordura no fígado”.
Laudos emitidos por Wellington eram descritos como “copia e cola” de documentos anteriores, sem qualquer análise personalizada. A polícia encontrou em sua posse carimbos de outros médicos, blocos de receituários de diversas clínicas e cadastros falsos do Cremesp (Conselho Regional de Medicina de São Paulo), confirmando a falsidade ideológica.
O suspeito admitiu informalmente que receberia R$ 2 mil pelos serviços prestados naquele dia na UBS, onde atuou por apenas um turno na terça-feira (6). A prefeitura de Cananéia esclareceu que o verdadeiro médico havia sido contratado via empresa gestora do sistema de saúde, mas Wellington se apresentou no lugar dele com documentos falsificados.
Prisão e desdobramentos judiciais
A PM o deteve em flagrante dentro da unidade de saúde, onde ele ainda operava o aparelho de ultrassom. Autuado por exercício ilegal da medicina e falsidade ideológica, Wellington passou por audiência de custódia e teve a prisão convertida em preventiva, sendo transferido para o Centro de Detenção Provisória (CDP) de Registro.
O advogado Celino Barbosa de Souza Netto, defensor do acusado, anunciou recurso contra a decisão e afirmou provar a inocência de Wellington ao longo do processo. A investigação da Polícia Civil prossegue para apurar possível rede de falsificadores e outros locais onde o empresário atuou.
Reação da prefeitura e cuidados com pacientes
A administração municipal de Cananéia lamentou o episódio, reconvocando todos os pacientes atendidos na terça-feira (6) para refazer os exames gratuitamente na próxima terça (13). Uma sindicância administrativa foi aberta em conjunto com a empresa gestora para identificar falhas nos controles de credenciamento e evitar repetições.
Embora ultrassonografias sejam exames não invasivos de baixo risco, a prefeitura destacou a gravidade ética e jurídica da fraude, reforçando mecanismos de verificação de profissionais. O caso expõe vulnerabilidades em unidades de saúde públicas, especialmente em municípios pequenos do litoral paulista.
