Um caminhoneiro dirigindo um caminhão da empresa SOS Fossas foi flagrado, na manhã desta sexta-feira (13), despejando resíduos de esgoto de fossa em uma área ambiental próxima ao Rio São Bartolomeu, no Distrito Federal.
A infração foi identificada por equipes da Secretaria DF Legal durante ação de fiscalização na região, que integra a Área de Proteção Ambiental (APA) da Bacia do Rio São Bartolomeu, criada para preservar mananciais e vegetação nativa.

De acordo com os fiscais, o caminhão do tipo limpa-fossa entrou em área de mata e passou a descarregar grande volume de efluente diretamente sobre o solo, em trecho que escoa para cursos d’água que deságuam no São Bartolomeu. Técnicos classificaram a conduta como grave, por risco de contaminação do rio e do lençol freático, além de proliferação de doenças. O veículo foi abordado em flagrante, o motorista identificado e autuado administrativamente.
O DF Legal informou que o responsável será multado por descarte irregular de resíduos em área pública e de proteção ambiental, com penalidades que podem ultrapassar R$ 30 mil, além de responder por crime ambiental com base na legislação federal. O caminhão pode ser apreendido até a quitação das multas e taxas, procedimento já adotado em outras operações contra descarte irregular no DF.
SOS Fossas nega irregularidade em flagrante de descarte de esgoto no Rio São Bartolomeu
Apesar do flagrante e das imagens que mostram o despejo pela mangueira e bomba ligada do caminhão, a empresa SOS Fossas que é a proprietária do caminhão limpa-fossa em nota negou o crime, classificou a ocorrência como “engano” e afirmou que recorrerá do auto de infração aplicado.
“A ocorrência foi um engano, o caminhão não fez o descarte indevido alegado. A empresa vai recorrer do auto de infração”, declarou a SOS Fossas, dona do veículo de 5 mil litros interceptado no Núcleo Rural Córrego das Antas, Jardim Botânico.
A APA do Rio São Bartolomeu é considerada estratégica para a segurança hídrica do Distrito Federal e está sob pressão de desmatamento, parcelamentos clandestinos e lançamento de resíduos. Segundo o órgão, ações integradas com outros entes de fiscalização devem ser intensificadas para coibir esse tipo de prática e responsabilizar empresas de limpeza de fossa que optam por descartar esgoto na natureza em vez de destinar o material a estações de tratamento autorizadas.
