Walter Delgatti já havia sido preso em 2019 por invadir contas de autoridades no Telegram e respondia a processo em liberdade
A Polícia Federal prendeu nesta quarta-feira (28) Walter Delgatti Netto, conhecido falsificador que teria entrado nas contas do Instagram de autoridades, entreelas da operação Lava, por descumprimento de medidas judiciais.
Ele foi detido utilizar a internet e criar um e-mail, ligado a sua conta bancária, para angariar doações via Pix. Os acessos ao endereço eletrônico foram feitos entre setembro e novembro de 2022, o que estava dentro de suas proibições.
O criminoso foi preso em Campinas (SP). Antes ele havia sido preso em julho de 2019, durante a Operação Spoofing, que desarticulou uma “organização criminosa que praticava crimes cibernéticos”, segundo a Polícia Federal. Delgatti já era conhecido da polícia por sua extensa ficha de crimes, como uso e produção de documento falso, tráfico de substâncias, estelionatos e até uma denúncia por estupro.
As investigações que culminaram na prisão de 2019 apontaram que o grupo acessou contas do aplicativo de mensagens Telegram usadas por autoridades.
À época, Delgatti admitiu à PF que entrou nas contas de procuradores da Lava Jato e confirmou que repassou mensagens ao site The Intercept Brasil. Ele disse não ter alterado o conteúdo e não ter recebido dinheiro por isso. Partes das mensagens foram publicada no site, a partir de junho de 2019.
Em agosto de 2022, a campanha de Jair Bolsonaro (PL), então candidato à reeleição, se encontrou com o hacker Walter Delgatti para saber a opinião dele sobre a segurança das urnas eletrônicas, disse o advogado Ariovaldo Moreira, que defende Delgatti.
Entre as pessoas com quem Delgatti esteve está Valdemar Costa Neto, presidente nacional do PL, ainda segundo o advogado.
Delgatti dizia que tinha condições de hackear o presidente do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE), Alexandre de Moraes.
Aliada de Bolsonaro, a deputada federal Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) confirmou à época também ter se encontrado com o falsificador.
