Restos mortais estavam em malas jogadas em canal na Flórida
Em coletiva de imprensa realizada pela polícia de Delray Beach, foi confirmada a informação de que os restos mortais encontrados dentro de malas na Flórida, Estados Unidos, pertencem a uma brasileira, identificada como Aydil Barbosa Fontes, de 80 anos.

O marido da vítima, William Lowe, teve seu material genético coletado por determinação da Justiça americana. O idoso ainda relatou para os policiais que, há cerca de três semanas, Aydil estava no Brasil.
A polícia fez uma busca no apartamento dele e encontrou manchas de sangue na sala de estar, na sala de jantar, na entrada, em dois banheiros e no quarto principal.
Os vizinhos afirmaram que não viram Aydil nos dias antes da mala ser encontrada.
Os investigadores afirmam que a brasileira foi assassinada entre 17 e 20 de julho.
Segundo o jornal “The Palm Beach Post”, as malas foram encontradas por um trabalhador da construção civil em julho. Posteriormente, outras duas malas foram achadas. Os restos mortais já estavam em decomposição.
A polícia começou a fazer entrevistas no bairro próximo ao canal, e moradores disseram que um carro estava aparecendo no local com frequência. Os policiais conseguiram descobrir as placas do carro e, assim, acharam o suspeito. Quando ele foi interrogado pela primeira vez, afirmou que a mulher dele estava no Brasil, mas que ele não tinha detalhes.
