Parte da cúpula da Polícia Militar do Distrito Federal foi denunciada por suposta omissão frente aos atos de vandalismo contra os prédios dos Três Poderes
A Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR) denunciou e pediu prisão preventiva ao Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), nessa quinta-feira (17), do comandante-geral da Polícia Militar do Distrito Federal (PMDF), coronel Klepter Rosa Gonçalves, do ex-comandante da corporação coronel Fábio Augusto Vieira e de mais cinco oficiais que integravam a cúpula da PMDF durante as invasões na Praça dos Três Poderes no dia 8 de janeiro.
O subprocurador-geral da República Carlos Frederico Santos acusa os oficiais de omissão. No entendimento da PGR, os sete policiais que integravam a cúpula da PMDF poderiam ter agido para evitar a invasão às sedes dos Três Poderes.
O relator do inquérito, ministro Alexandre de Moraes, vai decidir se aceita ou não a denúncia. Caso Moraes receba a denúncia da PGR, os policiais se tornarão réus por suposta omissão e poderão responder pelos crimes de abolição violenta do estado de democrático de direito, golpe de estado, dano qualificado, deterioração de patrimônio tombado e violação dos deveres impostos a eles pela lei.
Os denunciados são:
- Coronel Fábio Augusto Vieira: era comandante-geral da PMDF no dia 8 de janeiro;
- Coronel Klepter Rosa Gonçalves: era subcomandante da PMDF no dia 8 de janeiro e foi nomeado para o cargo de comandante-geral em 15 de fevereiro;
- Coronel Jorge Eduardo Naime Barreto: era comandante do Departamento de Operações em 8 de janeiro, mas tirou licença do cargo em 3 de janeiro;
- Coronel Paulo José Ferreira de Sousa Bezerra: estava no comando do Departamento de Operações no lugar de Naime em 8 de janeiro;
- Coronel Marcelo Casimiro Vasconcelos Rodrigues: era chefe do 1º Comando de Policiamento Regional da PMDF em 8 de janeiro;
- Major Flávio Silvestre de Alencar: atuou no dia 8 de janeiro;
- Tenente Rafael Pereira Martins: atuou no dia 8 de janeiro.
