O Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) condenou nesta quinta-feira (14) o primeiro réu a ser julgado por atos do dia 8 de janeiro, Aécio Lúcio Costa Pereira a 17 anos de prisão.
Aécio foi preso dentro do plenário do Senado no dia 8 de janeiro vestindo uma camiseta que pedia intervenção militar.
A maioria, seis dos ministros, seguiu integralmente o voto do relator Alexandre de Moraes que pediu cinco condenações.
Seguiram integralmente Moraes os ministros Edson Fachin, Dias Toffoli, Luiz Fux, Carmén Lúcia, Gilmar Mendes e Rosa Weber.
Nunes Marques votou pela menor pena, de apenas dois anos e seis meses de prisão.
André Mendonça pediu oito anos e foi contra condenação por golpe de Estado.
Luís Roberto Barroso pediu 10 anos de prisão ao não condenar por abolição violenta do Estado Democrático de Direito, por considerá-la redundante com a acusação de golpe de Estado.
Cristiano Zanin fixou a pena em 15 anos de prisão.
