Jornalista, diretor da Band Tv traz histórias dos embates eleitorais televisivos em 312 páginas
O jornalista especialista em política, Fernando Mitre lançará, no dia 28 de novembro, na sede da FAC, em Brasília, o livro “Debate na Veia – Nos Bastidores da Tevê, A Democracia no Centro do Jogo”, publicado pelas editoras Letras Selvagem e Kotter Editorial.
A obra, de 312 páginas, traz histórias dos embates eleitorais televisivos que o autor, como diretor de jornalismo da TV Bandeirantes, criou e acompanhou in loco, a começar pelos primeiros debates presidenciais, desde a redemocratização do país, na década de 1980.
A publicação vem prefaciada pelo antropólogo Roberto DaMatta.
O lançamento do livro acontecerá no Auditório Jornalista Pompeu de Sousa da Faculdade de Comunicação da UnB, Campus Universitário Darcy Ribeiro – ICC Norte UnB Bloco A, que abrirá suas portas ao público às 18h30.
A professora da UnB, Letícia Renault, realizará a cerimônia de abertura, às 19h00. A seguir, apresentação de Fernando Mitre e, na sequência, mesa de debates com mediação do jornalista Rodrigo Orengo. Por fim, a partir das 20h00, o autor realizará sessão de autógrafos e fotos.

Sobre o autor:
Fernando Mitre iniciou sua carreira no jornalismo há 60 anos, no jornal Correio de Minas. Passou pelo Diário de Minas e o semanário O Binômio. Integrou a equipe que fundou o Jornal da Tarde (SP), onde foi diretor de redação por 13 anos. Em 1989, passou a trabalhar na Rede Bandeirantes de Televisão, onde se tornou, desde 1999, diretor nacional de jornalismo.
