O médico anestesista foi preso e autuado em flagrante, na madrugada desta segunda-feira (11), por estupro.
Segundo a polícia, Giovanni Quintella Bezerra abusou de uma paciente enquanto ela estava dopada para uma cirurgia de parto cesárea no Hospital da Mulher em Vilar dos Teles, São João Meriti, município na Baixada Fluminense.
A prisão foi feita pela delegada Bárbara Lomba, da Delegacia de Atendimento à Mulher de São João de Meriti.
A investigação começou após funcionários da unidade de saúde filmarem o anestesista colocando o pênis na boca da paciente depois que ela estava inconsciente.
Ele participava do parto dela. E depois que ele mesmo aplicou a anestesia e verificou que a vítima não esboçava mais reações, cometeu o crime.
A gravação, entregue à polícia, foi produzida por funcionários do hospital, após a desconfiança de que o abuso estava sendo cometido pelo médico.
