A Polícia Militar e o Corpo de Bombeiros do Distrito Federal foram acionados por funcionários da embaixada da Rússia na manhã desta quinta-feira (14).
Segundo o porteiro da embaixada, um artefato foi entregue pelos correios e levantou a suspeita.
Por volta das 10h as equipes se deslocaram para o local. A via de acesso à embaixada foi bloqueada por medida de segurança.
Segundo o Capitão do Corpo de Bombeiros do Distrito Federal, Hélio Marçal, ninguém foi atendido. Equipes especializadas em produtos perigosos, químicos, radiológicos e biológicos nocivos à saúde humana estão no local.
Foi feita “radiografia” mas havia uma caixa blindada que foi colocado pelo pessoal da embaixada antes da detonação do artefato que ocorreu ao meio dia.
Ainda não há informações sobre o conteúdo da caixa. A explosão preventiva chamada de “contra carga” foi feita para evitar uma possível explosão principal do artefato.
