Uma pessoa estava em Guarapuava e as outras cinco em Rio Bonito do Iguaçu, onde ventos chegaram a 250 km/h, segundo Simepar. Ao menos outras 750 pessoas ficaram feridas
O governo do Paraná confirmou na tarde deste sábado (8) os nomes das seis vítimas fatais do tornado EF3 que devastou o município e cidades vizinhas na tarde de sexta-feira (7), por volta das 15h30, deixando um rastro de destruição e devastação na região Centro-Sul do estado.
As vítimas confirmadas são:
–
- Julia Kwapis, 14 anos — Adolescente arrastada pelas fortes rajadas de vento enquanto estava na casa de uma amiga em Rio Bonito do Iguaçu. Seu corpo foi encontrado no bairro Vila Rica, às 18h30 do dia 7.-
- Jose Gieteski, 83 anos — Encontrado em sua residência no centro de Rio Bonito do Iguaçu, às 19h.
- Adriane Maria de Moura, 47 anos — Localizada em uma área residencial de Rio Bonito do Iguaçu, às 20h.
- Claudino Paulino Risse, 57 anos — Encontrado entre os escombros de sua casa na Vila Rica, às 21h.
- Jurandir Nogueira Ferreira, 49 anos — Confirmado morto no distrito de Guarapuava, onde também foram registrados danos sérios pela passagem do tornado.
- José Neri Geremias, 53 anos — Localizado numa área rural próxima a Guarapuava, no início da manhã deste sábado.
O tornado EF3 atingiu diversas cidades do Centro-Sul do Paraná com ventos superiores a 250 km/h, provocando destruição significativa também em Guarapuava, Laranjeiras do Sul, Candói, Pinhão e Dois Vizinhos.
Nessas localidades, as forças de segurança registraram queda de árvores, destelhamentos e interrupções nos serviços de energia e água.
Milhares de residências sofreram danos estruturais, com a população enfrentando falta de energia elétrica, água potável e comunicação.
Mais de 700 pessoas foram hospitalizadas, com atendimento concentrado nos hospitais de Laranjeiras do Sul e Guarapuava, muitos em estado grave.
O governador Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior decretou estado de calamidade pública para Rio Bonito do Iguaçu a fim de permitir agilidade na liberação de recursos para atendimento e reconstrução.
A Defesa Civil e o Corpo de Bombeiros seguem atuando intensamente nas áreas atingidas, com equipes em campo para buscas, salvamentos e atendimento emergencial.
O fenômeno climático foi provocado por uma supercélula associada a um sistema extratropical que afetou o Sul do Brasil, gerando tempestades severas e condições propícias para tornados de alta intensidade.
As autoridades reforçam a importância do monitoramento contínuo e da mobilização da sociedade para apoiar as famílias afetadas nesta tragédia, considerada uma das mais graves dos últimos anos no Paraná.
