Lula não promulgou a lei dentro do prazo constitucional e prorrogativa passou ao presidente do Senado
O presidente do Congresso Nacional, senador Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP), promulgou nesta sexta-feira (8) a Lei da Dosimetria, que será publicada em edição extra do Diário Oficial da União (DOU).
O projeto foi inicialmente vetado pelo presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) no dia 8 de janeiro deste ano, exatamente no dia em que os ataques completaram três anos, mas, na última quinta-feira (30), a Câmara dos Deputados e o Senado votaram pela derrubada do veto.
A lei permite a redução de penas de condenados pelos ataques de 8 de janeiro de 2023, incluindo a pena do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro, condenado a 27 anos e três meses de prisão no julgamento da trama golpista.
Na Câmara, foram 318 votos favoráveis à derrubada e 144 contrários. No Senado, foram 49 votos para a derrubada do veto e 24 votos contra.
Para que o veto fosse derrubado, eram necessários ao menos 257 votos na Câmara e 41 no Senado.
Desde que o veto presidencial foi derrubado, Lula tinha 48 horas para promulgar o projeto de lei, mas optou por deixar essa ação para o presidente do Senado e do Congresso Nacional, Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP).
