Empresa de transporte estava em recuperação judicial desde 2016
O TJSP decretou, nesta quarta-feira (21), a falência do Grupo Itapemirim, que já foi a maior empresa de transporte rodoviário do Brasil.
A empresa está em recuperação judicial desde 2016, e com dívidas de R$ 200 milhões, sem incluir mais de R$ 2 bilhões em impostos e contribuições previdenciárias não-pagos.
O juiz João de Oliveira Rodrigues, que assina o ato, também decretou o bloqueio de parte dos bens do atual controlador da Itapemirim, Sidnei Piva, referente a uma empresa dele, a Piva Consulting.
Rodrigues afirma que há indícios de “confusão patrimonial” entre a Piva Consulting e o grupo Itapemirim.
Sidnei, que comprou a Itapemirim em 2016, após a empresa entrar em recuperação judicial, desviou recursos do grupo para comprar mansões e carros de luxo.
Ele também é o responsável por lançar a companhia aérea ITA (foto), que durou apenas seis meses e abandonou milhares de passageiros no final de 2021, às vésperas do Natal.
