O governador do Distrito Federal, Ibaneis Rocha (MDB) disse nesta terça-feira (11) que vai “atacar o mal na cidade”, em referência às fortes chuvas que atingiram a Capital Federal neste mês.
Na noite de segunda (10), um temporal causou estragos e alagamentos no DF. Só no Paranoá choveu 80,8 milímetros (mm), e a região central de Brasília teve volume de 63,4mm de precipitação, segundo o Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (Inmet).
Uma mulher foi arrastada por uma enxurrada, durante as chuvas que atingiram o Paranoá, no Distrito Federal. Um morador da região registrou o momento em que a vítima é levada pela água no meio da rua.
De acordo com o Corpo de Bombeiros, a mulher foi arrastada por uma distância “muito pequena”, mas teve escoriações leves pelo corpo. Ela foi levada ao Hospital do Paranoá, porque se queixava de dores no quadril.
“Vamos atacar todos esses pontos de alagamentos no Distrito Federal para que a gente consiga superar isso aí dentro do menor prazo possível”, disse Ibaneis.
O governador citou algumas obras de drenagem em regiões da capital. “O Sol Nascente é uma região muito carente e estamos entrando com todas as obras de infraestrutura. Certamente no fim do ano teremos um resultado completamente diferente”, afirmou.
“Também lançamos o Drenar-DF nas regiões da Asa Norte, Taguatinga e Ceilândia, para fazer todo escoamento de águas e acabando com esses problemas que estamos vivenciando. Temos que olhar os problemas e atacá-los de frente. Reconhecendo que durante muito tempo muito deixou de ser feito na nossa cidade”, acrescentou.
Em 11 dias, o DF acumulou 55% das chuvas esperadas para todo o mês de abril. O Inmet verificou precipitação de 79,4mm nesta segunda-feira (10/4) — o esperado para todo o mês é de 145,2mm.
