Cerca de 50 pessoas morreram e dezenas ficaram feridas em ataque a uma estação de trem lotada no leste da Ucrânia.
Dois mísseis atingiram a estação de trem na cidade de Kramatorsk nesta sexta-feira (8), na região leste da Ucrânia, onde, segundo Kiev, o governo da Rússia planeja grandes ataques para os próximos dias.
No momento do ataque à estação, cerca de 4 mil pessoas estavam no local tentando embarcar em trens.
Além das vítimas fatais, há mais de cem feridos, de acordo com as autoridades da região. Depois do ataque, a Eslovênia anunciou que doou equipamentos de defesa antiaérea para a Ucrânia.
O primeiro-ministro eslovaco, Eduard Heger, anunciou nesta sexta-feira (8) que seu país doou para a Ucrânia um sistema de defesa aérea S-300 para ajudá-la contra a invasão lançada pela Rússia.
“Posso confirmar que a República da Eslováquia doou um sistema de defesa área S-300 para a Ucrânia”, disse Heger.
O primeiro-ministro destacou que esta entrega não significa que seu país “faça parte do conflito armado na Ucrânia” e que a doação é uma resposta ao pedido de assistência feito por Kiev para sua “legítima defesa”, de acordo com o artigo 51 da Carta da ONU.
Este sistema móvel de mísseis terra-ar fabricado na Rússia fazia parte dos pedidos feitos pela Ucrânia aos países ocidentais.
