Os “Novos McPicanha”, sanduíches da linha da rede de fast-food McDonald’s não têm o corte específico da carne na sua composição, apenas “aroma natural de picanha”. A informação foi confirmada pela própria empresa após inúmeras queixas publicadas nas redes sociais e abertura de processo no Procon de São Paulo.
Em nota, o McDonald’s afirma que a campanha busca “proporcionar uma nova experiência ao consumidor, ao oferecer sanduíches inéditos desenvolvidos com um sabor mais acentuado de churrasco”, e traz “a novidade do exclusivo molho sabor picanha”.
“Lamentamos que a comunicação criada sobre os novos produtos possa ter gerado dúvidas e informamos que haverá novas peças destacando a composição dos sanduíches de maneira mais clara”, ressalta o McDonald’s.
Em uma das publicações, feita pela página Coma Com Os Olhos, o uso da picanha na composição dos hambúrgueres da linha deixou de existir no início deste mês, quando os restaurantes da rede foram notificados pela matriz que deveriam passar a usar a mesma carne dos sanduíches da linha Tasty na fabricação dos “McPicanha”.
“Tal informação, que não é passada a você, consumidor da marca, é comprovada por meio dos prints de materiais de treinamento interno que foram obtidos com funcionários do McDonald’s Brasil”, afirma o texto de denúncia contra a campanha.
Diante do ocorrido, o Procon-SP entrou com uma representação para solicitar que a rede se posicione, até o dia 2 de maio, sobre a composição dos sanduíches “Novos McPicanha” e apresente informações sobre a campanha publicitária.
A empresa deverá apresentar a tabela nutricional dos sanduíches, atestando a composição de cada um dos ingredientes (carne, molhos, aditivos, entre outros), e documentos que comprovem os testes de qualidade realizados, demonstrando o processo de manipulação, acondicionamento e tempo indicado para consumo.
“Também foi solicitado que o McDonald’s apresente os gabaritos das embalagens utilizadas para acondicionamento dos produtos nas lojas físicas para consumo imediato e para entrega”, destaca o órgão de defesa do consumidor.
