Um incêndio de grandes proporções destruiu completamente cerca de 20 bancas da Feira dos Importados, no Setor de Indústria e Abastecimento (SIA), no Distrito Federal.
Equipes do Corpo de Bombeiros foram chamadas para apagar as labaredas por volta das 23h. Como os produtos são altamente inflamáveis e o risco de o fogo se alastrar rapidamente é alto, militares de nove quartéis foram convocados para conter o incêndio.
Por volta de 1h da manhã, os militares ainda atuavam fazendo o chamado rescaldo, que é o resfriamento da área para garantir a completa extinção do fogo.
Ninguém ficou ferido. A investigação sobre as causas do incêndio serão apuradas pela Polícia Civil.
