O telhado do restaurante Fornassa éra de palha e estrutura de madeira, o que pode ter ajudado o fogo a se alasrrar rapidamente.
Segundo o tenente Marcelo de Abreu, do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Distrito Federal (CBMDF), o incêndio teria começado durante a construção e instalação de uma churrasqueira.
Para construir a churrasqueira, os profissionais de serralheria teriam utilizado equipamentos de solda, que soltou fagulhas e entrou em contato com a palha da estrutura. Todos conseguiram sair do local antes que as chamas de espalhassem.
“Foi tudo muito rápido. O incêndio tomou proporções muito rápidas por diversos fatores, como a umidade do ar”, explicou o tenente.
Ainda de acordo com o militar, ainda que o atendimento tenha sido de forma rápida, o material utilizado na estrutura da pizzaria contribuiu para a rápida propagação das chamas. “Foram poucos minutos e o incêndio se alastrou por completo. Esse tipo de material dificulta muito, porque ele tem uma capacidade de ignição muito alta”, continuou Abreu.
O restaurante e pizzaria Fornassa, ficava na quadra 301 de Águas Claras e foi consumido pas chamas nesta quarta-feira (1º), por volta do 12h30. O estabelecimento ficou completamente destruído.
