Nesta segunda-feira (27), Caio Mário foi eleito por sete votos a três.
Andrade foi aprovado, por oito votos a dois, para compor o próprio Conselho de Administração da estatal.
Andrade é o quarto presidente da Petrobras indicado pelo governo Bolsonaro. Ele substitui José Mauro Coelho no comando da empresa.
A previsão é que ele assuma o comando da companhia nos próximos dias.
O nome de Andrade ainda precisa ser ratificado em assembleia de acionistas da Petrobras, o que deve ocorrer dentro de 30 dias. Entretanto, isso não impede que ele já assuma a empresa. E o governo tem maioria na assembleia.
Acionistas minoritários ainda tentam barrar a posse de Andrade. A Associação Nacional dos Petroleiros Acionistas Minoritários da Petrobras (Anapetro) entrou com uma representação na Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (CVM) contra a nomeação de Caio Paes de Andrade para a presidência da estatal.
aposta do governo é que, uma vez na cadeira, Andrade troque a diretoria da estatal e garanta um intervalo entre os reajustes dos combustíveis, evitando novas altas até o primeiro turno da eleição.
