Notas eram de R$ 100 e estavam em caixas de papelão no porta malas do veículo parado em vistoria
Pelo menos R$ 2.508.500 em dinheiro vivo foram apreendidos dentro de um carro durante fiscalização da Polícia Rodoviária Federal, na BR-010, em Ulianópolis, sudeste do Pará.
O valor em notas de R$ 100 estava em quatro caixas de papelão no porta-malas. O homem de 49 anos foi preso e levado para a Polícia Federal, onde será investigada possível lavagem de dinheiro. O flagrante aconteceu na terça-feira (11) e só foi divulgado nesta quarta-feira (12).
Os policiais abordaram o veículo com placas do Distrito Federal, na altura do km 82 da rodovia. Os agentes notaram contradições nas respostas do motorista quando ele foi interrogado sobre o motivo da viagem.
Diante das suspeitas, os policiais fizeram uma vistoria no interior do carro e encontraram as caixas de papelão com o dinheiro.
Segundo a PRF, o motorista disse que o dinheiro era pagamento por atividades relacionadas com aluguéis de carros.
